QUALITY, COMMUNICATION, EXCELLENCE
LCBs were first made back in 2006. I made them just out of boredom and to feel productive other than taking care of my kids all day. I lived overseas and didn't go out much since I was with infants and toddlers. After a few craft fairs selling bags, the consistency of orders was enough to continue making them. So I kept it up. Leftcoast Bags become a registered trademark in 2008.
There are no plans for mass production. I've actually started the process a couple of times, but I prefer them to be handcrafted and like how unique each bag is. Part of my love of making them is allowing each person to choose what fabric they want. Even though I make duplicates sometimes I still love the idea that 100's of people don't have the exact same bag!
I hope to always be around and available when someone needs to purchase a gift or are needing their own new bag.

Just like these quotes mean something different to every reader, so does the fabric choice of each person.

Who Says Moms Don't Have Time?
Believe it or not, I'm a mom of four. I have twins and they have an older sister who is only 11 months older then they are and another sibling who is a couple years older than her. I've treated home life like a management project. I always hated the stereotypical picture of a mom that stays home to watch TV and only cook and clean; plus I hate sweats and can't really cook! With the right mix of chores, and play time, nap time, and an early bed time, it leaves extra time open for me to have my own time to still have a hobby. Yep, time management! The routine was pretty sharp and I'm so proud of feeling this accomplishment in those infant and toddler years. We lived in Okinawa and then Hawaii as a military family and now back home in good old Cali. As they are getting older, the challenge of managing kids plus finishing my degree program and continue sewing is also growing. But I really do love it! Life is a puzzle and making all the pieces fit together is what creates a beautiful life story.
